Every personnel who works on the supported scaffold (irrespective of the height of the scaffolding) to carry out his/her jobs shall finish a 8 Hour Supported Scaffold Erector safety training program or course, depending on OSHA, Local Law No. 52 and Article 10 of Subchapter 2 of Chapter 1 of Title 26 of the Administrative Code of the City of New York.

As outlined on Chapter 33 of the fresh 2008 NYC DOB Building Code, which include instruction on the dynamics of electrical potential risks, fall and falling object dangers, coping with material on scaffolds, and the highest possible intended load and load-handling capacities of scaffolding.
